Don Pedro Grill

A fantastic truly authentic Mexican restaurant with great food, wonderful staff and atmosphere. I stopped here on the way home from a event and I'm sure glad I did. The chips tasted like they were homemade and all the food I tried was fantastic!! Definitely worth checking out if you're passing through or live close by either one!!

Best street tacos around!!! This is the only place that I know of that put sliced, grilled onions on their soft tacos. This makes a big difference on the taste as opposed to uncooked chopped white onions. Give them a try! Went back again for the street tacos and the consistency in the quality is outstanding. I can always count on getting exactly what I ordered and enjoying it here.

We love this place. As the mom of an older autistic kid, he is comfortable here and learning to try new things on the menu. He goes on his own at least once a week and asks me out often (you know so mom can pay). Great flavors, good salsa, very clean always. My tip- get the Steven special with charro beans under rice and add sour cream...game changer.

3rd update- We had the chicken, cheese, beef enchiladas, and beef chimi. All so good, great service as always. Adding the 5th star! Can't say enough! I recommend them and will certainly return! #2 update- Still great, still have good service. I'm so happy for Don Pedro and how busy/ successful they are. They deserve it! Update- The Hawaiian Quesadilla is very good, we order it without bacon. The enchilada plate is also very good! Adding pics from take-out order- Original review- Don Pedro Grill is very good. They have great cheese dip and good sweet tea. I also like their corn chips better than most. The service is always friendly. There is another local Mexican-style restaurant nearby, this was my go-to. Not anymore, Don Pedro Grill is now my first choice.. Always satisfied at Don Pedro. Good portion size, good price, and excellent service. Thank you!

It's our favorite place. Wife wishes they offered a lot smaller margarita but I don't mind finishing hers. Steven special a solid go to, especially if you get steak, chicken and shrimp.

Been a local around the Springfield area for over 10 years, I have never ate at Don Pedro Grill before… and I can’t believe I haven’t ate here SOONER!! The food was GREAT, the service was AWESOME, and don’t forget to try their Strawberry Dac, of course if you’re 21 and older! YOU WILL NOT REGRET COMING HERE, and ENJOYING delicious food, with a calming atmosphere.

The food here is great. I love eating here. The severs are nice and polite. The atmosphere is great. The margaritas are the best margaritas you will ever taste. I rate this place a 1000000000000000/10.

I had the Caribbean Chicken and it was excellent. I would say this was the best meal I have ever had from any Mexican style restaurant in Springfield and surrounding area in the last 25 years. I asked for corn tortillas and it came with Ranchero beans, Mango salsa, and a good bed of rice. The Mango salsa was sweet and had a slight spicy kick to it that made it very good and paired well with the chicken. The beans had a little spice to them as well and was a nice change from the standard refried beans. I was very impressed with this meal, the freshness and presentation was excellent and it was very tasty and cooked well. I would recommend it and will for sure be having it again. My complements to the cooks and the restaurant for making good food and at affordable prices. Thank you.
